Some things can only be made at altitude.
At 3,800 meters above sea level, in the high plateaus of the Peruvian Andes, the air is thin and the standards are not. It is here, where the land meets the sky, that Baby Alpaca fiber is born. Soft beyond comparison. Warm without weight. A fiber that has clothed Andean communities for centuries and now finds its place in the most discerning wardrobes in the world.
Atelier 3800 was founded by two Peruvian sisters with a shared love for beautiful things and quiet luxury. Growing up connected to this land and its traditions, we saw something the world was missing — a fiber as extraordinary as cashmere, crafted by artisans whose skill deserves to be known. So, we decided to share it.
Every piece in our collection is made in small batches in Arequipa, Peru — a city with a centuries-long tradition of textile artistry. Our artisans work with the same techniques passed down through generations, honoring the fiber and the process. No shortcuts. No synthetics. Just craft, time, and an uncompromising standard.
We are not for everyone. We are for those who choose quality over logos, substance over noise, and beauty that lasts.
